The overall objective of the project is to reduce gender inequality as a barrier hindering women from increasing their share in the benefits generated by the development projects funded by the Green Generation in the province of Rehamna. It will also generate evidence-based policy recommendations and best practices for promoting gender equity in food systems in the province. This includes improving women's access to resources, strengthening their bargaining power, and addressing gender-based discrimination.
Our research project is participatory and community-driven, with a focus on engaging and collaborating with rural women and other key stakeholders throughout the research process.
